Reviews for Sabine RT7000 Rackmount Guitar and Bass Tuner Feature: 5 string basses are becoming standard - any tuner should be able to tune the B string. Quality: It doesn't do what it is supposed to do reliably - tune my basses. Value: Buy something else if you can afford it. Sound: I wouldn't buy this tuner if I had the opportunity to do it again. I play bass. First, it will NOT register the B string on a 5-string bass. Second, it "freaks out" every so often - giving totally inaccurate tuning values. I have it mounted in a rack with dual fans so it is not an overheating problem. The one big plus is that you CAN see if from across the stage with shades on - I have worn shades onstage and believe me, this is true. Overall: I don't haven the money right now to buy a better tuner so I am stuck with it.
