Reviews for Samson Concert 77 UHF TD Wireless with Q7 Microphone Feature: Good features overall. Quality: I was dissapointed. The description says rugeed and durable. The wireless unit and the handheld are all made out of molded plastic. Build quality is fine...I just don't trust this to be functioning if it were dropped. I know if someone spilled a drink on the mic or if someone drops the mic i'll have to replace it immediately. Value: Apparently wireless mics are expensive...I'm not sure why. I decided to go with Samson instead of a cheaper product because I know that if didn't work I could replace it again with something reliable. Desirability: It's a matter of spending 50 bucks for a crap vs. 200 for soemthing that will be reliable out of the box but avoiding the cost of a mic that's double the price. Two for the price of one would probably work out even better. Sound: For the DJ gigs I used this sounded just fine. I do any reference comparisons however i'm sure using a mic cable and an sm58 would be better sound. Ease of Use: It works straight out of the box. Support: N/A haven't dealt with support Overall: i think it's a good product for DJ's that use mics occasionally and want to move away from XLr cables. Service organizations and professional PA's may want to go with products with metal casings and better mic casing for "ruggedness" and "durability."
