Reviews for Samson CH700 Closed-Back Studio Headphones
Feature: Not quite as efficient as phones like the Sony's. Same output source sounded much louder on the Sony MDR-V6.
Quality: Unfortunately, these lasted about 6 weeks before the right earpiece fell off and the right wire crimped in half. Am trying to fix it now. But if you are a bit hard on your phones (like me) you might consider paying for something that will take more abuse.
Sound: These cans sounded good with my digital piano (Kawai mp9000). Warm sounding for accoustic instruments without harsh upper frequency range. A bought Sony MDR-V6 headphones for about twice the price but they weren't a good match for my piano. Very harsh sounding upper range and too boomy at the bottom. The MDR-V6's do sound very good for general music listening though.
