Reviews for Roland SRX12 Classic EPs Expansion Board

Feature:
2 Rhodes, 1 Wurly and Clavinet.

Sound:
Just got the SRX12. Updated the FANTOM to 2.1 and installed the 'card'. The 2 Rhodes and Wurlitzer sample sets are presented in 4 velocity layers. Piano Sound Set 1, the E-flat above middle C, the triple forte velocity layer, has a very pronounced static component that overshadows the note itself. IMHO it makes the Piano sound set 1 unusable. John at Roland tech support said it contributes to the authentic character of the intrument.
