Reviews for Fender Original 150 Series Strings for Electric Guitar - XL (9-40) Quality: What can you say. Quality string made with quality materials and they sound great. Value: The price is always excellent. Sound: I have used these for years. They sound very balanced, not overly sharp or harsh. I believe it is due to the pure nickel winding. I hate strings that try to emphasize some frequency range, etc. The other thing I like is the flexibility. They stretch beautifully and the tension is balanced across the set.
