Reviews for Behringer VMX1000 Professional 7-Channel DJ Mixer Feature: Gains and EQ worked well. The EQ kills were a nice toy, made for some interesting effects. The effects loop, however, was utterly useless. The effects loops signal is taken at the PFL section. The only way to use it is to set the PFL switch on the channels. Doing this effectively bypassess the crossfader. The crossfader becomes useless and you have to manually use the individual channel faders. Quality: I've seen worse. Value: This mixer wasn't worth the cheap price. The price was cheap, and so was the mixer. Sound: Sound on this unit was horrible. There was a noticeable hiss when I was using this mixer. Lots of crosstalk between the faders. Even when the crossfader was fully assigned to the 2nd channel I could still hear the CD playing on the first channel.
