Reviews for Ashdown MAG300R Rackmount Bass Amplifier Head Feature: Seems to be built like a brick house. More EQ options would have been nice,other than that no complaints for the price. Quality: Appears to be made quite well. No problems yet,thankfully. Value: This is great value!! A pro sounding head that can be used in any genre. More expensive amps I tried did'nt come close to this one sound wise. Desirability: Practical addition. But it does look cool in a 1950's submarine equipment vibe. Unique against the other heads for sure. Sound: This head has a nice warm sound that really works for oldies and classic rock.With an Ibanez semi-hollow artcore and a Peavey 4x10 the Ashdown has punch and yet retains the bottom.No complaints for the price. Support: Have not had reason to deal with them. Overall: I hope to continue gigging with this for a long while. So far so good.
