Reviews for Allen and Heath Xone 32 3-Channel DJ Mixer with LFO Feature: The featureset is very good for the price range, offering almost everything you need and very little you don't. I LOOOOOVE the filter. I have only two major (minor) beefs with the mixer. First, the EQs are not full kill - this may or may not be an issue for you, as I mix with the EQs killed and an open fader. The other issue is the channel level indicators. 4 lights is NOT enough. It'll put you in the ballpark, but it can't be relied on for good level matching - which can be an issue where you are recording sets in high-volume applications. Quality: Great Value: You can't find a better mixer for the price - it's shortcomings are more than made up for by it's clean sound and that oh-so flexible little filter on it. Desirability: It's a no nonsense peice. Nothing about it's looks or layout will grab you, but it is clean, uncluttered, and not unattractive. The Allen and Heath name has drawn it's fair share of praise, and it's certainly an amazing mixer for the price. Sound: Sound quality is, in a word, phenomenal. No complaints whatsoever. It doesn't seem to add or detract from the sound in any perceivable way. Ease of Use: Excellent.... the only somewhat confusing aspect is the gains on the rear of the unit. I would have switched the location of the gains and the auxiliary level controls.
